I love the authenticity of Indian block printing. For me, the idea that each beautifully carved block started out in the hands of an artist with his simple tools, grounds every piece I create in the romance and mystique of India. I love that Indian block printing continues to use traditional practices to produce wonderfully colourful and unique fabrics; that these methods are being put to more contemporary designs and remain relevant in our homes.

I wanted to put together a collection of uniquely designed yet practical items for the home, using both newly made materials but also vintage Indian wooden blocks, producing a truly bespoke finish. All the materials I use are ethically sourced in UK and India.
